ARISE! International, Inc is a 501 c 3 non profit domestic violence organization supporting adult women of child sexual abuse through the recovery process by facilitation of faith-based support groups.

Our faith is a key element in our mission to glorify God by showing the love of Jesus Christ as we support and help survivors of sexual violence heal emotionally, socially and spiritually from the devastating effects of inappropriate sexual behavior.

VISION STATEMENT

We envision a world where every survivor has a community of support.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

•We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God revealing the love of God to the world. The Bible was given to mankind to instruct, lead and to rise up and be blessed.

•We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

•We believe sexual abuse is not in the will of God. It is sinful behavior conducted by individuals who make a conscious choice to commit a criminal and immoral act which is out of God’s will for sexual expression. Therefore, we assign total responsibility to those who choose to commit sexual offenses.

•We believe according to the Scripture we live in a fallen world with fallen humanity which does not reflect the Creators original design.

•We believe sexual abuse is not a blessing nor was it a way for God to "teach me" a lesson—it is betrayal by people.

•We believe God is the One who redeems and restores as we commit our lives to Him, He will bring us out of all abuse and problems.

•We believe God instituted monogamous marriage between a male and a female as the foundation of the family and the basic structure of human society and that sexual intimacy is reserved for the covenant of marriage.
